July 2011 - A great time was had
on the 4th. Thanks to Sherry
Lowes for all of her work setting
things up, and to everyone who

good company with them.
and potato salad. As usual, we are
looking for volunteers to whip up
some great desserts, so if you
would like to help out, please contact us and let us know what
you’ll be bringing.
Tickets will be $8 for
adults, $5 for children aged 3-12.
Kids under 3 are free. We will
also be selling whole butts, so if
you would like one, please let us
know in advance, so we can order
the correct number. Whole butts
will be $30 per.
Poker Night
Sherry is still hosting a
poker night at the lake, though
turnout has been hit or miss.
Check the calendar for the schedule, or contact Sherry, or any
board member, for more details.
Kids’ Night
Sherry has also offered to
host a Kids’ Night at the lake.
Again, contact her or any other
board member for full details. The
schedule can be found on the cal-
endar or by contacting a board
member.
Annual Pig Pickin’ BBQ
Lynco will be holding it’s
annual BBQ again. This year, we
are doing it at the end of the season, instead of at the beginning. It
will be September 10th from 4-
7pm. It is open to the public.
Our good friend Butch
Baynes will be cooking up pork
with sauce, beans and hush pup-
pies, and we’ll also have cole slaw
We appreciate everyone
coming out to the events we’ve
had so far, and special thanks to
everyone who’s helped out at the
events. There’s still a good bit of
summer left, and we are looking
forward to enjoying the latter half
of the season, as much as the first.
